Missions

Jesus told us...

to go to all nations and to share the good news about Him.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  (Matthew 28:19-20)

We believe that the Gospel transforms lives, bringing hope, peace and joy. We are able to share that joy with others through our church's local, national, and world mission focus and activities. Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church also participates in missions through partnerships with other mission-minded agencies, as well as through the Cooperative Program.

Who is Acts 1:8 Network

The Acts 1:8 Network is a ministry of the Southern Baptist Conservatives (SBC), who helps people find each other for missions.

Churches are on mission all around the world. Many of them are ministering in the same regions and reaching similar people, but most aren’t aware of all the other churches who might be working nearby. Wouldn’t it be great if they all had an easy way to find each other and connect?

Through the Acts 1:8 Network, churches can learn about who else feels the Lord’s calling to reach their target people groups. They can meet each other, pray for each other, and pool their experience and resources for greater Kingdom impact. That is why Calvary has partner with the Acts 1:8 Network. Greetings, Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church

We pray you are doing well in the Lord. You are in our prayers and thoughts.  We are doing well by His grace. Thank you for your prayers and partnership in the ministry. Your faithful partnership enables us to continue this strategic work of reaching the nations.. I wanted to write and give an update about the ministry  and us.

1. Completed my MBA in Data Analytics.

I completed my MBA in Data Analytics in 2 years. It has been a long and tough course. It  was very demanding but I enjoyed it as it was challenging. I love challenges and it brings the best out of me.

Whats next? I am praying and seeking the Lord. I am sure the Lord  has a reason why He allowed it.

2. ISCF-International Student Christian Fellowship

We continue to have Zoom meetings with students due to the pandemic.  Hopefully things will improve for the Fall. Please do pray for the ministry  for the coming Fall session.

5. BOOK WRITING.

I have commenced on the book writing which was delayed because I was wrapping up my MBA. But now it is over, I am back in the saddle to write books. I am working as a devotional for financial planners which will be followed by a book on Finances and Discipleship. I am a collection of messages written which will be published and translated in different languages. This will be provided to pastors in rural areas to help with their Sunday sermons  to preach the sermons.

6. TRAINING SCHOOL.

I am planning to set up an ONLINE TRAINING SCHOOL for pastors in the rural areas. This school will help train them in the work of ministry.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Good health for both of us.

2. The various programs we are planning above.

3. Pray for funding.

THANK YOU.

We want to thank you for your continued partnership in the ministry. Your faithful giving is helping us to continue this vital work. Please do continue your support. It is much appreciated.  May the Lord richly bless your family and you.

Proverbs 11:24-26

24 There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in poverty.  25 A generous person will be prosperous, and one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.  26 One who withholds grain, the people will curse him, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.

Blessings, Dr. Gopal and Daisy, ISCF
